156th printed account of the fires in Cedar Falls I had a letter from Aunt Mellissa I sewed all the evening. Thursday March 20th 1873 I walked both to and from school today Mother had a house-ful of company today. Grand-ma was still here. As soon as I got home I began to sew on some ruffled pillow cases. did not get to bed till nearly eleven oclock. Friday March 21st 1873 Hattie taught for me today and I finished the pillow cases. Mother and Grand-ma went to town and I got the dinner. Winnie came over, this forenoon and was here to dinner. Just before night They moved over her piano and other things and before supper they had things pretty well arranged. The young folks all went to society and Mother and I stayed at home and sewed. I had a letter from Mr Huebner. Saturday March 22nd 1873 We were busy all the forenoon doing house-work and about four in the afternoon I went to town did some shopping and made some calls did not get home till
