160th. Rob very kindly taught for me today I sewed and helped about the house-work It was quite warm today but the roads are fearful muddy. I will try and go to school myself tomorrow. Wednesday April 2nd 1873. Thursday April 3rd 1873 I went to school today the walking is pretty good now. I sewed in the eve after I came home. Weather pleasant. Friday April 4th 1873 It was quite warm for the time of year. I went to school today. When I came home Esther Chalfant and the Hart girls from New York were here; they stayed till after supper it was so pleasant when they went home Winnie and I walked down to the steps with them. In the evening I sewed some and we had no fires and the doors were open. I had a letter from Mr Huebner. Saturday April 5th 1873 It was so warm this forenoon that we could hardly breathe. Mother went to town I got the dinner by the time she came home. It rained in the afternoon
