161st it rained and as that cooled the atmosphere somewhat we all felt better. I did considerable sewing in the evening. Sunday April 6th 1873. It rained nearly all day I wrote a long letter to Mr Huebner in the Eve but was all day reading a book which I was anxious to finish. Winnie went over to town just before night and her brother came back with her and staid a few moments. Monday April 7th 1873 Ott and I plodded out to school today I was awful tired when I came home at night. I helped bring in the clothes and roll them up. Ella Robinson was here for supper and They went out to Fletchers to rehearse but us girls did not go with them. Tuesday April 8th 1873 I walked to school this morning Oh how it snowed today Ott and I started to walk home but met Father coming after us. I had a letter from Mr Huebner wrote to him tonight. I do not believe I can go to school tomorrow
