162nd Wednesday April 9th 1873 I did not go to school today but sewed all day on my black dress I am putting more ruffles on it. I had a letter from Mr J.J. Huebner. Thursday April 10th 1873 I walked to school today it was awful hard walking. I was almost tired to death when I got home at night I had a letter from Mr Huebner I sewed all the evening. Friday April 11th 1873 I went to school today and came home tired as usual. After I had my supper I felt better and sewed all the evening. Saturday April 12th 1873 Winnie and I washed some this forenoon While Mother went to town I ironed in the afternoon In the evening I just read and rested I had a letter and paper from Mr H_ . Sunday April 13th 1873 I went to Sunday school with Hattie I stayed to church. Miss Chapins text was Isaih 82 chapter 2nd verse. The sermon was most excellent.
