165th Sunday April 19th 1873 I did not got to church in the evening but wrote a long letter to Bertie As soon as I had my dinner I dressed to go out riding. Mr Huebner and I went down to the valley it was nearly dark when we got home. In the evening I read a few moments and went to bed early. It was quite cool today. Monday April 20th 1873 I did most a prodigious washing today. In the afternoon Mr Huebner came over in the buggy and we rode out west a short distance and then to town In the evening The Troupe met here. and Mr Huebner was over some time. Tuesday April 21st 1873 I was almost the entire and live-long day ironing. Father went to Muscatine in the evening. I dressed before supper and went to town to get my waist fit. Was up to Esthers a little while and to Sadies. It was quite dark when I got home. But I had Magic with me. I was very tired so after resting a few moments I went to bed. it is still cold and wintry
