188nd pleasant time. Then we attended again in the afternoon. As soon as we could get supper after coming home We took a drive out to Mr Higgens farm. Both of Lou's brothers went to Davenport today. Monday July 7th 1873 It rained nearly all day. I read and visited. Tuesday July 8th 1873 I wrote a few lines to Mr Huebner this morning. I read some and helped Lou a little. Mr Sherfey came home tonight. Wednesday July 9th 1873. Another rainy day. Lou intended to have a small party tonight. four of the gentleman came and stayed a little while tonight. Thursday July 10th 1873 I read and visited today. Mr Higgens went to town and brought me two letters from Mr Huebner. pleasant today. Friday July 11th 1873 Still pleasant. I packed my trunk and sent it down town this morning. After an early supper They took me down to the train. I arrived safely at home at eleven oclock I saw Mr Van Camp at Wilton Junction.
