194th alone as Grand-ma came to town. Hattie came home with me, it was dark before we got home. I recieved a telegram from Mr Huebner, and he came on the ten oclock train but left on the early morning train. He brought me some beautiful shells. Thursday August 28th 1873. I ironed this morning, and went to town just before dinner in the buggy with Lee. Aunty Smith was here today and Mrs McCleary spent the afternoon here. Friday August 29th 1873 Hattie and I cleaned the house up nice this forenoon and as soon as we had our dinners dressed to go riding. We went first to Coralville and then to the neighbors west of us to make some calls. About five oclock we got over to town, met Mother on the street she said Mr Huebner was in town and had been over to our house with a carriage to take me riding. I met him on the street and walked over home and Mother and Hatt came home in the buggy. The young folks all went down to Moons to a party tonight. Mr Huebner spent the evening with me and then drove to Morse Station to take the train north.
