195th Stevens for Rob. I eat dinner out there. Mother and I put up tomatoes all the afternoon. Aunt Linda and some of the children were here for supper. Will Rankin came over for cream and he eat supper here. It was very warm all day but rained heavily just at night. Thursday September 4th 1873 I did a very large washing today. Mother and Hatt went to the fair in the afternoon. I put in the time scrubbing and cleaning up the house. I did not want to go to the fair, mercy but I had the blues. Friday September 5th 1873 I got to ironing very early. We finished by noon. Mrs Middleton came over and Mother took her back home in the buggy I walked to town and rode back with her. I had a letter and paper from Mr Huebner. I went to Aunt Emma's to a party tonight with Jim Moreland. But took sick as soon as I got there and was obliged to go to bed and stay there all night. Saturday September 6th 1873. Mother came after me today I felt far from well but was able to come home. Hatt had cleaned up the house awful nice.
