200th Saturday September 27th 1873. We put up grapes and made jelly in the forenoon. After dinner cleaned up the house and did the baking. In the evening there was a dozen young folks spent the evening here. We danced some, all seemed to enjoy it very much. Sunday, September 28th 1873. Hattie and Charlie went to the valley this morning, about noon it began to rain and rained heavily all the afternoon so they could not get home. I wrote to Mr Huebner and Lou Sherfey. Monday September 29th 1873 I washed in the forenoon and after dinner Washed six quilts. Mother went to town. Charlie came home at noon but Hattie did not come with him. a beautiful day. Tuesday September 30th 1873. I ironed this forenoon and in the afternoon went to Lorna Mygatts weeding. She was married at home at four oclock. I ran around town till just night before I came home. Had a letter from Mr Huebner. wrote to Winnie. Wednesday October 1st 1873. I went to town this morning in the buggy did not stay long at all. I had only just got
