201st home when Grand-ma Grand-pa, Aunt Emma and family came. Late in the afternoon Hattie and I took a ride north of town in search of grapes but were not successful. Owen was over to supper. Weather very pleasant. Thursday October 2nd 1873 Mother went to town this forenoon and I tried to sew some but felt too nervous to do much at it. In the afternoon Lee and I went up the river to get grapes got 80 lbs. did not get home till night. Still pleasant. Friday October 3rd 1873. It rained all day I did not feel very well but made a lot of grape jelly. Saturday October 4th 1873. I helped do the work in the morning and put in the whole afternoon making calls in town. spent a pleasant afternoon. Sunday October 5th 1873. Mother and I were going to the valley today but it rained some which put a stop to our going. In the afternoon I went over to Folsoms and went riding with Jim and Mollie. We did not get home till dark. Wrote to Mr Huebner. Monday October 6th 1873. I did not feel at all well this forenoon so
