214th Wednesday November 26th 1873 I made Owen a blouse this morning. And in the afternoon made the curtains for the school house and went over there to put them up. Did not get through. Em Middleton came over tonight they all went to rehearsal but me. Thursday November 27th 1873. "Thanksgiving day" Rob and I went to the school house and finished the stage and curtains. They all attended rehearsal in the afternoon. We practiced singing in the Eve. Friday November 28th 1873. I helped do the work in the forenoon. As soon as we had dinner went over to the school house Mother went to town. We got supper early and went to the school-house. Our exhibition was a success The house was full and we took in $7.50. Saturday November 29th 1873 Hatt and Rob were at work over to the school house all the forenoon. Mrs Middleton and Emma went home just before noon and Mother went to town too. I got the dinner. In the afternoon I helped do some baking. And just before supper Owen and I drove over to town after groceries. A cold chilly day.
