217th Monday December 8th 1873 I did not wash today. But began to make me a dark calico polinaise to wear every day with my black skirt. Weather rather unpleasant. Tuesday December 9th 1873 I helped do the work sewing what time I had I finished my polinaise in the evening, and put it on. Wednesday December 10th 1873 I began to work on Mother a new dark calico dress, sewed steady all day and till late bed time. Thursday December 11th 1873 I sewed all day on Mothers dress and till quite late in the evening. Friday December 12th 1873 I finished Mothers dress soon after dinner and then cleaned out the cellar way closet In the evening although it was snowing heavily Owen Hatt and I went over to Mygatts to a party. Saturday December 13th 1873. I helped do the work and sewed what time I had. Mother went to town in the afternoon. In the evening We had a great time boiling maple sugar.
