232nd in the evening I copyed a song for Owen and did some other writing. John Hess and wife spent the evening here. A letter from Charlie tonight. Wednesday December 2nd 1874 I walked to school in the morning and Will came after me in the evening. I wrote to Lee and to Charlie and in the evening did my share of the ironing and some mending. I did not feel very well. The snow is fast disappearing. Thursday December 3rd 1874 I rode to school this morning and back at night. I helped a little after I came home and changed my dress as company was expected. There was about thirty here and I did enjoy myself so very much. Ett and Lou staid all night. Owen came out I was acquainted with most that were here. I had a letter from Rob tonight. Friday December 4th 1874 I walked to school this morning and they sent for me at night. I felt sick and home-sick all day. In the evening I cut me a poliniase and knit a little. Saturday December 5th 1874. I worked all day in my poliniase and got it almost done. I was really sick in the evening this has been a gloomy day. Uncle went to Emden today and Ira came home with him I got the Reporter.
