Saving...
my way between their peaks - a billowy fastness, a celestial citadel. "Chattanooga choo-choo" Wild dreams - lying in field with planes making forced landings & one turns out to be a horse; Neff & Roosevelt, Lindbeck & the snakes. 5/10- Monday "shall revive as the corn" (Hosea 14:7) "blindness of their heart" (Ephasians 4:18) The Bible is a great and good book well deserving the reverence & respect it has commanded up through the ages. It is fine literature, interesting history, and full of the wisdom and experience of a people who loved God. But best of all a spiritual understanding of its inspired word will bring the same comfort and healing that it did in the early days of Christianity. It is practical teaching & its application is sorely needed in the world today. A gov't must do more than establish order, guarantee political liberty, and insure equal justice under law. It must stand ready to remedy abuses in the econ. system, to stimulate the econ. of abundance. However, in doing these things a good gov't will help the people to help themselves, never promoting the philosophy that the gov't owes its people a living. "Comin' thru the Rye"
