Saving...
a chance tomorrow. Tests tomorrow in engine theory and engine construction. Studied all evening. No baseball this afternoon because of rain. - No mail either - I wonder what the folks are waiting on - and Ben, I had expected to hear from him by this time. Friday - Feb 27. Didn't shine in the tests I took this morning, but got by alright, I suppose. Found out that I only made one mistake in the radio test given yesterday, hence, have one leg toward checking out. The requirements for complete checkout in radio receiving are - 8 words plain, 6 mix, and 10 wpm press, ie, a message taken without a mistake. We took up the Browning .30 calibre machine gun in gunnery this afternoon. We must learn to take it apart, reassemble it, and know all the parts by name. I didn't suppose such a small mechanism could have as many parts -!
