Monday - March 2 Shot the machine gun again today. This time we fired out of the slip stream of an air plane prop. just to give us an idea of what it would be like in actual combat. Believe me accurate aerial machine gunning must take a lot of practice. Henceforward, I shall have more respect for those pilots recorded in the paper as having downed a certain number of enemy planes. No baseball today - too windy and cold. Didn't quit raining until noon. Can't say much for the Florida weather thus far. Went to a movie after supper when I should have been studying. It wasn't a bad picture, however - the "Night of Jan. 16." It is rumored some more of the K.C. boys are due in here today. Sure hope Hobbs is among them.
