Saving...
Thursday - Mar. 19 Another fine sunny day - bright, warm, pleasant. This is more like it. Blinker & semaphare are coming along better now, but it will be a close race to see if I can check out on Sat. when we are supposed to. Took my turn at batting practice tonight and swung without discomfort for the first time since I hurt my finger. Received a delightful letter from Merle today. She thoughtfully inquires if I would care for some cookies or fudge ala Merle! - Friday - March 20 We had tests today in Materials & Construction, and in Airplane Performance. I had to do a lot of guessing in the former but feel that I probably passed it alright. After getting a 2.9 in the Test Stand exam given last week it is hard for me to worry over any of these courses. If ever I wrote a poor exam that was it. Anticipating rain & fog for tonight & tomorrow the commanding officer decreed that Saturday should be our liberty day
