Saving...
this week and that we would go to school all day Sunday. Ken & I drove in to Morton's for supper, Bob not yet having received his gate pass couldn't go along. It was the best steak & french fries I have had in a good long while. Shall plan to go back again when the next liberty rolls around. We then went on into Pensacola for a little, while returning to the station about 10:30 P.M. By that time the fog was thick & low obscuring all but the closest objects. Saturday - March 21 It rained from down to dusk today without letup, despite the fact it is the date of the vernal equinox and, also, off Hobbs' birthday. Spent most of my time writing letters and taking it easy. Jack & I did the wax the floor this morning, however. There seem to be several popular songs right now that I like a lot - Elmer's June, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Blues in the Night, Moonlight Cocktail, White Cliffs of Dover, This Love of Mine. Can even recognize them without much trouble which is pretty good for me. Still like to listen
