ularly; but I can tell it would have been very irksome in college when I really wanted to play. We have two more games with Mich. State tomorrow & Wed. May get to play in one of them. If I could just hit a couple on the nose I'd be all set - neither one of the other catchers is too good a hitter. Pettit & I played bridge with C. L. Wilson & "Jellybelly" Shelton after supper. Enjoyed it a lot, but I'm a bit obtuse when it comes to cards. Rec'd a large box of toll house cookies from home, and a fine letter from Tait Cummins of the C. R. Gazette. He is a good gent, and it pleased me much to hear from him. Tuesday - March 24 Another fine, warm day, this is more like the Florida weather you hear about. We lost to Mich. state this afternoon, 4 to 1, and still I did not get to play. The fellow who caught today is the regular catcher from last year. He is plenty good though not an exceptional hitter by a long shot. Perhaps, I'll get to catch the final game of the series
