Saving...
live than Germany. The former deplores the methods it feels it must use to gain its end, while the latter holds that bestiality, race prejudice, war, and all the indignities which it has bred in the minds of its people is aim & end of the Germanic way of life. When such well educated & reasonable men as Joe Davies & Sir Stafford Cripps, former British Ambassador to the Soviet, both wealthy capitalists, have many fine things to say of the Russian experiment then I think there must be some merit & some hope in what we have called Communism. It is gradually changing to an evolutionary movement where individual enterprise & initiative is recognized, as these men suggest, then surely they are getting on the right track. And while I am on the subject I can't help noting the difference in the pictures I see of Stalin & Hitler. The former has a kindly, cheerful looking face, he cannot be all bad, I'm sure. But Hitler is always the epitome of fanatical hatred, & prejudice. He looks like a maniac. I end this by stating my admiration
