Saturday - March 28 Six tests today and all of them considerably harder than heretofore. Apart from radio communication procedure, and possibly meterology, I think I got along quite well. In any even it is a relief to finish this all day ground school routine. Will start flying again Monday. We beat Alabama 3 - 0 this afternoon. Sexton pitched the shutout, doing a good job all the way. Had not tests prevented my getting out until after game I think I would have gotten to catch today. Doesn't seem to matter much to me whether I get to play or not - particularly catch. What I really want to do is bat. I wish he'd let me play in the outfield. Quillen, Barber, Westbrook & I played bridge for a couple of hours after supper. Quillen & I held good cards and beat them soundly. Its a lot of fun when you are holding the good ones.
