Tuesday - April 7 And still I didn't get to fly - I was scheduled again today, but my instructor didn't show up. I am getting tired of that old noise. Perhaps, a full lieutenant flies when he wants to. The weather man predicted rain for tomorrow, so we were secured at 5 oclock. Bob, Ken, & I went to town, but came back pretty early. Bob & I stopped at Simpson's and were measured for white uniforms. Don't think I'll trade with White & White anymore. They screwed me on my blues, I'm afraid. I ordered a tailor made uniform, and got nothing but a full drape model, size 42 right off the rack. Wednesday - Apr 8. This being "Sunday" for this week I slept late and spent the remainder of the morning writing letters.
