Saving...
folks seemed so interested in what I had set down while at K. C. I shall continue to keep it up. Friday - April 10. Man, I'm really a whipped puppy tonight. My instructor did about 20 successive lazy 8s with me this afternoon, then gave me an inverted spin, and followed that with instruction on slips to circles. All this made me a bit woozy, and I didn't feel a whole lot better when I went up for an 1 1/2 hour solo shortly afterwards. Found that I could neither slip nor do wingovers as he had taught me. Felt thoroughly disgusted and submissive when I came down. For the moment I feel quite low, almost uninterested in flying. You could buy me for a nickel tonight and no haggling. Don't even believe I could fly a kite. Trust I shall feel & do better tomorrow.
