Saving...
idea of what a dive bomber's perspective is by nosing my plane straight down and holding it there for awhile before pulling out. It is great fun, the trees come hurtling up at you, the wind screeches by; all this at 120 knots, I wonder what it feels like at 250 kts. Flew around over the countryside at about 3 to 400 ft for a little while. Not a very good idea, but I could restrain the impulse. Tuesday - April 14. My instructor was gone on a ferry hop, so I didn't fly at all today, because my 3rd period of instruction on my twenty hour check was scheduled. (Horrible sentence structure!?) Five hours at the squadron with nothing to do is an awful bore. Navigation is getting tougher, & the instructor, a 1st class heel, is pouring it on. Notebooks are due on Friday, and a test is also to be given. Should have everything whipped into pretty good shape by then - I hope.
