Saving...
Wed. - April 15 Had my 3rd period of instruction on my twenty hour check today. Only had time for slips to circles and wingovers before the clouds closed in, but during that short while I gave him a good ride - he said so when we landed. We climbed through layer of broken clouds to get up above for our wingovers. In the shortwhile we were up above, the weather closed in almost completely making it a little difficult to get down stairs again without the use of instruments. It was a good practical experience for me showing how quickly the weather can close in, and what danger lies in flying in or around clouds. Up above everything way sunshiny and nice, but below the situation was quite the reverse - low ceiling, gloomy, foreboding. This period was called incomplete and I shall get the rest of my instruction tomorrow.
