Wednesday - April 22 Couldn't find one maneuver that I could do well today, neither stunts, pylons, nor acrobatics. When I go up for another instruction hop tomorrow McCroskey will ask what in the devil I have been doing the last two or three periods. Don't seem to get much mail anymore - rather disappointing, too, there are several people who owe me letters. Thursday - April 23 Gave McCroskey a fair ride today. My stunts went better than yesterday by quite a bit. Pylons and small field work need improvement; wingovers are much better. Friday - April 24. Had three hours of solo today. Everything was much improved except immelmanns, haven't quite gotten the word on them yet. Feel that I can give McCroskey a good ride tomorrow. I had better, it is the last instruction before my 33 hr. check. We are still dealing with plotting board in navigation. It
