Saving...
wish Sunday came oftener. Trust my very pink back with soon turn to tan. Monday - April 27 Was supposed to check on my 33 today, but a low ceiling kept down all but one flight. Will get my chance tomorrow, I suppose. If I am on the ball I shouldn't have much trouble. Pettit is up and around now, and should be released from the hospital in a day or two. Tuesday - April 28. Successfully passed my 33 hr check this morning. Not a good ride, not a bad one - didn't too well on my first cut gun and wasn't too sharp on my wingovers, otherwise, pretty fair. My final check will be up before the week is out. Boy, they sure stick it to you fast around here Bibba sent me a Hawkeye which arrived today. On the front leaf the editor had written - "to the greatest Iron Man of them all." Quite generous of her, as always, and made a tremendous hit with my vanity. Really an excellent yearbook - one of the best I have ever seen.
