Sat - May 16. Had a test in scouting & search today. Might have done pretty well, but you can't tell for sure till you see it in black & white. Still no whites, so Bob spent a very quiet evening together on the base, and to bed early. Sun. May 17 Up at 7:30, read my lesson, then over to the golf course for 9 holes. Did fairly well for the first time out. The fairways were awfully narrow though Down to the beach in the afternoon for a couple of hours, and then 9 more holes of golf about dusk. Russia still continues to sound good on the eastern front, but the real storm hasn't broken yet. What will Twikey do? We must hold fast this summer!
