Tuesday - May 26 More time in the link but no air hop for some reason or another. Am not too sharp in my link operation, but am learning the proper radio range procedure which is the main thing. Wednesday - May 27 Had another air hop today. Didn't too well. The daggone air speed seems to be my biggest bugaboo. Bob & I went out to Martines for supper. He is now working on formation flying & will be out of squadron one this week. Has sailed through without any trouble. Pettit seems to be having some difficulty. He had to ask for squadron time on his 33 & now is in the same position on his final. Thursday - May 28 Finally finished all my link hops - what a relief. Had more time in the air again today - this I really enjoy. Quite by chance I ran onto Eddie Lynch the other day. He was end coach at Iowa under Solem
