mine. What a strange coincidence. Only had one hop today & that division cruising. Still am not too sharp - must do better tomorrow. Did check out of radio sending & radio procedure, however. Getting those requirements out of the way is quite a relief. Had another chat with Jim Carroll. He gave me a little dope on this formation - and also asked me out to dinner Sat night. It will be wonderful to get some home cooking again. Bob arrived today and how glad I was to see him! We talked all evening forcing postponement of the letter I was going to write home. Friday - July 10 Had an hour of acrobatic instruction followed by an instructors check. Can hardly imagine how I passed it - really a punk exhibition. Went out for some more practice in the afternoon. Everything went better except the slow rolls. Wrote a long letter home after supper & talked with Bob.
