Saving...
and none the worse for wear. Mon - Aug 10 Four hours today - a two hour relative search sector & a two hour cross country up to Bell Grale, then to Fellsmere & back. Start gunnery tomorrow Tues - Aug 11 3 hours again today, this is more like it. One half hrs of dummy beam runs (I towed), then 1 1/2 hrs of firing. I got the pattern ok, but didn't hit the sleeve very well. Wed. - Aug 12 Three hours of beam runs - now ready to start camera gunnery. Went out to Rileys for supper. Jack was over at Tampa, so Mary had Jim Dawer come in to make a third. It was quite a surprise for me, didn't know Jim was in the FBI too. Had a wonderful time - good meal, good people, enjoyable exchange of stories & experiences.
