arranged so that three face each other, for about 110 men. Now, it seems to be common for man to feel it necessary to relieve himself right after breakfast. At that time most of the men have not yet combed their hair, but are having their first cigarette of the day. I do not have many aristocratic leanings, but, for some reason or another, I do like privacy when assuming the undignified position necessary for a bowel movement. However, with no other alternative available I consistently find myself sitting on a cold stool opposite some lugubrious faced co-student & surrounded by waiting aspirants. If I have painted a relatively clear picture you will agree with me that such a situation is the epitome of the lowest form of democratic relationship among men. This morning we did very little. We helped push airplanes from the runway back into the hangar, and that is about all.
