Tuesday - Dec. 23 Not much doing apart from the regular routine. In the evening we went into Kansas City for awhile. Ran into the D. Moines boys stationed at Ft. Leavenworth at the Town Royale about 8 oclock. From the T. Royale we drifted to the Pink Elephant and finally to the College Inn. Not the best evening in the world but there isn't much else to do around K.C. Wednesday - Dec. 24 Went up for my second hour of instruction. This time we did spins, stalls, and spirals in for landings with a cut-gun from 1000'. I found that spins gave me quite a thrill. Once again I think that I did quite well. If I were to get an hours work on landings and takeoffs I think I could solo without too much trouble. Perhaps I am getting too cocky - the next couple of hours will tell.
