Wright about it, and he assured me it was all a mistake - that Bob would be in the Jan. 2d class ok. Saw the screen version of "Louisiana Purchase" after supper. It was not as good as the stage production, but still very entertaining. There was a good deal of excitement around here about 11AM. Boyd Klopfenstein, one of the students, fell out of his airplane as his instructor was circling the field for a landing. It seems he forgot to fasten his safety belt and when the pilot nosed the plane down suddenly Boyd was left stranded in midair. Fortunately, he had the presence of mind to pull his rip cord immediately - which was absolutely necessary since they were only 600' up. Some experience for the 5th hour of flying. Sunday - Dec. 28 Just solo students were flying today. The rest of us were secure at 8 oclock this morning. Went to church in the morning, wrote letters in the afternoon, and saw the movie "Corsican Bros" in the evening. They staged one of the best
