Saving...
past its flight requirements. As a matter of fact this has been a kind of disappointing day all the way around. My car, once again, would not start because of a weak battery. I am about ready to sell the car here in Kansas City and be free of the difficulty. Second thought prompts me to take a deep breath, stick out my chin and persevere until the skies clear again. Still extremely cold - the forecast is for ten below tomorrow morning. Don't mind it so much during the day, but I haven't slept warmly for three successive nights. Two blankets isn't enough when some of these fresh air fiends in the top bunks open wide the windows. Nothing is more acutely uncomfortable than to wake up at three in the morning shivering like a hairless puppy with no more covers within reach.
