Saving...
Wednesday - Jan 21. Nothing apart from the usual routine happened today. Flew in the morning and went to class in the afternoon. Did manage to get 10 wpm. in radio. Hope I can master 12 before leaving. The fine weather continues and everything is going well. Like this life very much. The flight office told Henry Bucello, the Left Wing Commander and my present roommate, that they were "washing" him. He couldn't land the plane, I guess. It is tough business, this getting washed out. The boys really hate to leave. At the end of 6 weeks a man just gets well acquainted with everyone and the flying bug is in his blood - it is with a sad face that a student leaves. Must get a new license for my car one of these days. Somehow that little requirement always takes second place behind my dates with Merle.
