Saving...
the service. This failure to work together, to compromise, to recognize merit in others, this small mind pettiness seems to be a historical characteristic of government and military men. Inexcusable! Bob & Ken went to a movie after supper and I spent a couple of hours at the Reading Room. I wonder if the North American bomber plant just across the road thinks it is fooling anyone. Every other day or so they roll out that same bomber they finished 3 weeks ago, warm it up, taxi it around, and then it disappears for a day or two. Everybody around here knows it is the same plane and that they haven't produced any since. Also, I am wondering if they are operating on Sundays. I didn't see much activity around there yesterday. It is a crime if they aren't.
