Saving...
Monday- Jan 26 A heavy blanket of fog hung over the field all morning grounding the AM flight wing, however, our wing was able to fly during the afternoon. I didn't get up until the fourth hour, but it turned out to be one of the best hops yet. My landings were all quite good. I think I have the hang of it for sure now. Bob, Ken & I went to town for our supper tonight, then returned early so Ken could study his math. He hasn't been doing too well in this subject. In fact he has to take a special test today. The papers indicate that the Allies are beginning to get in some good licks in the S. Pacific even though the Japs continue to move ahead. The quicker we can halt the advance of these little yellow men the easier the job will be.
