stand against the Sioux Indians. It was quite good, and I enjoyed it very much. I always wonder, though, just how historically accurate such shows really are. How times and personal convictions change! I can remember writing in a college theme that I was tired of hearing of a nations manifest destiny and the often inevitability of war, and that I would fight when I saw the tanks coming up #6 highway and not before. What an immature view! But more than that I now find myself moved strongly by feats of courage and battle heroism as depicted in such movies as "They Died with Their Boots On." I find myself anxious to do the same, to engage the enemy, and to comport myself with outstanding skill and daring. Truly nothing stirs the imagination of a red blooded youth like the prospect of a battle.
