Checked out of radio at 10 pm without too much trouble. Believe I am beginning to get the hang of it now. Should make rapid progress soon after getting started at Pensacola. Phoned Harry Bremer about tomorrow night, but, unhappily, he had decided to go on to Florida Sat. morning. Am planning to go into town with Haugebak and eat at Antoines. Radalaugh, student Batl. Comm., found a suit of blues that some kid who washed out left behind for him to turn in. He is going to let me use them over the weekend - they happen to fit pretty well. After secure at 5 oclock today we all (7) turned to for field day. Darndest thing I ever heard of - work all day & clean up barracks before & after supper. Had a watch last night between 4 & 8 AM.
