Saving...
Thursday - Feb 19. Lounged around in the morning except for getting my camera tagged. Spent most of the afternoon filling out mimeographed sheets of personal information - most of them concerned insurance, beneficiary, whom you wanted notified and where you wished the body sent. Wandered over to the gym about 1700 to watch basketball practice. The Pensacola team is entered in the A. A. U. tournament in New Orleans starting next week, I believe. Some pretty fair players on the squad - not like a good college team, however. Ran into York who used to play football at Wisconsin. He has been here about 5 months - only a few weeks to go. He is flying OS 2U s - they are pretty slow - an observation ship operating off battleships - derisively called "clay pigeons" by some, meaning they are easy picking for enemy fighter planes. More and more impressed with the physical plant they have here. Ken & I took a long walk this evening trying to get everything located in our minds.
