How well I have taken advantage of the football reputation it was my good fortune to gain is for others to judge, but I personally am very thankful for the whole experience and the fun & friends it has brought me. How peoples personalities do differ. What is pleasant & quite natural to one man would be offensive & out of place in another - and it shows rare good judgment to recognize this fact. For instance, constant profanity is not exactly an admirable trait, and yet the conversational profanity of some men seems quite natural, not in the least offensive, and frequently very amusing. Nonetheless, were I to adopt this as part of my personality makeup it would end in dismal failure, I am sure.
