fit for high altitude flying. I don't anticipate any difficult, but just the same I wish I didn't have a fire watch tonight from 1:15 AM to 5:30 A.M. Tuesday - Feb. 24 What a long day - from 1:15 AM to 10PM - this is no place for a guy who needs 8 hours of regular sleep. Happily, the adjustment isn't too difficult for me - or at least so it seems thus far. More engine theory and engine construction this morning. How I am enjoying it! Bill & father would take all this in stride but for me it is a new field. Four hours at a stretch in one class room with only ten minute breathers each hour is a long sit. Sometimes it is pretty hard to stay awake. Had my hop in the low pressure chamber after lunch. We took a small psychological test at sea level, went up to 18,000 without additional oxygen and took another, then on up to 28,000 with oxygen masks and still another test.
