(28) An Olio Take twelve Squab Pidgeons Six young Ducklings, Six young Chickens, Scald your chickens and Ducklings and cut them in Quarters but put your Pigeons in Whole. half Roast a Rabbit, boil and blanch a Neats-tongue and cut it in thin Slices. take sweet breads, Cocks-Combs, and Mushrooms, put all these in a Stew-pan with three pints of Strong Gravie and set it over the fire to Stew and put in some Whole Pepper, Mace and Nutmeg, two Onions Stuftt with cloves and a faggott of sweet herbs. when your meat is near done Enough put in some Capers
