(98) A Seed Cake Is made the same way as the last only to leave out the Currans & put in some Caraway Seeds you may put in the sweet Meats if you like and let it bake an hour. An Almond Cake Beat up the Yolks of twelve Eggs and the Whites of Six and put to them a pound of fine Sugar & beat them up very Well with a Whisk till they are very White, then take out your whisk and work three quarters of a pound of fine flour into it, and half a pound of sweet Almonds Well pounded, then put it in your Pan and let it bake three Quarters of an hour.
