The Gascoine Powder Take the Claws of Crabbs, when the Sun is in Cancer what quantity you will beat searse them, & to 5 ounce of this, add 2 ounce of Hartshorne, one Ounce Pearl, One Ounce Chorrall, one Ounce White Amber, [4?] Ounce Bezoir all these must be made into a fine Powder, & sears'd then being mingled together make it into Balls with Gumm Dragon (if you please) may colour it with Saffron then dry it leisurely, The Doze is 15 Grains but you may safely take more, as you see occasion you may putt to it as much Viper [Bones?] powder, as Bezoar
