The very best receit for a consumptive from Mrs Ridder, even to take Late _____________ A pound of Raisons of the Sun stoned, A quarter of a pound of figs A quarter of a pound of fine Honey Half an Ounce of Lucatallus's Balsam Half an Ounce of powder of Steel Half an Ounce of flower of Bilicampe A grated nutmeg one pound of duble refined suger poanded ___ shred & pound all thease in a stone Morter = pour into it a pint of Sallad Oyle, by degrees - when it is thu'r mixe'd - Eate a Bit of it four times a day-- the Bignesse of a Nutmeg Every Morning = drink a Glass of [Mabage?] Sack - with the yolk of a new Laid Egge & as much flower of Brimstone as will ley upon a six pence & the next morning as [?]
