Cowslip Vinegar Miss Gibsons Boil Ten pounds of Sugar in Twenty quarts of water. when cold pour the same upon five quarts of Cowslips with the Stalks on. then put it into a Spigot Pot - mix throughly with it a Bason of yeast. set it in the Sun where it may not be disturb'd - Maccaroni Betty Catews Way. done white Boil the Macaroni in Skim'd Milk till the pipes are tender - taking care to Skim it well as it boils - then grater about two ounces of cheese into it till it is of a proper thickness - and add a little good cream. - Chene Partridges - Half roast the Partridges or Stew them in some good Broth. then boil some Cabbage and chop it. put the Partridges. the cabbage some Flour, cut in slices or as you please and some very good strong gravy into a Stew Pan let them Stew for an Hour. and Serve them either
