Breakfast Biscuits. 2 lbs of Flour 1 egg 1 spoon full of new yeast 1/4 lob Butter warmed in a sufficient quantity of milk let it lay an hour and a half before you bake it. in the Winter before the fire, roll it out like Paste, cut it into Biscuits; bake them a quarter of an hour. Split and Butter them. [Mangree?] - thin Buscuits A Tea cup full of cream, an Egg and sufficient milk to make up 1/2 pint; stirred into a pint and half of flour kneaded as stiff as possible for at least 20 minutes; add [loaf?] sugar to taste and roll out very thin.
