Medical Receipts Continued. 57 Blood Vessel. Upon the bursting of a Blood Vessel administer instantly vinegar and Water a quart at least should be take and a constant Inception of Draughts of the same liquor. The proportion should be about one forth of Vinegar the Water as Cold as possible. 58 Warm a lb of Common black Pitch in an earthen Pipkin sufficiently to divide it into 16 parts and give every day one of these parts divided into Pills so that in the day the whole half ounce shall be taken by an adult 1/4 ounce by a young person It will at first produce an apparent increase
